Westport Ale House
With a gigantic Chiefs mural on the side of the building, it only makes sense that Westport Ale House would make our list of places to watch the Kansas City Chiefs. With more than 50 big-screen TVs in the building, there’s no bad seat in the house. Ale House features a classic bar menu with more than 20 domestic and local craft beers, in addition to cocktails. This spot features daily specials and offers the option to reserve premium seating or a VIP table for game days. If their main dining area ever gets too rowdy, feel free to take a breather on their rooftop bar and beer garden offering beautiful views, yard games, and a full bar.
Tin Roof
If you’re already in the Westport area, then continue down north on Broadway to Tin Roof for another prime Kansas City Chiefs watch party location. Enjoy a long list of gameday drinks and food specials while local DJs keep the party going during breaks in the game. During the warmer months of the NFL season, Tin Roof also features a huge patio with outdoor seating and televisions.
KC Live! Block
Known for its mega watch parties for World Cup games and the Super Bowl, the KC LIVE! Venue in the Power & Light District of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, is a popular place to catch the game each week. While the middle of the venue offers beer stands and a large viewing screen for individuals to stop by and watch, there are also bars and restaurants just a few steps away that offer seating and game entertainment. McFadden’s Sports Saloon offers brunch and brunch cocktails to satisfy Sunday cravings, while Johnny’s Tavern offers a full menu of pizza, burgers, wings, and the oh-so-delicious Wilson sauce!
John’s Big Deck
Another great spot to catch the game downtown is three-level John’s Big Deck. Not only are there televisions on every floor to accommodate football viewing but their every day specials won’t break the bank while you’re there for a few hours. As the weather gets cold, they even cover the deck to keep you warm while watching your Kansas City Chiefs.
Society
Just south of downtown Kansas City, you’ll find Society tucked away in the Crossroads Arts District. We easily consider this one of the chicest places to watch the Chiefs play! But don’t let the artistic decor fool you, this place still knows how to party! Enjoy a “Sunday funday” at Society with premium drink specials, a brunch menu, and DJs to accompany each game.
Chicken N Pickle
If you need to keep the kiddos entertained while you watch the game, then Chicken N Pickle is an excellent choice! Chicken N Pickle has locations in Overland Park and North Kansas City both full of kid-friendly fun and food options. Both locations feature Bocce Ball, Pickleball, cornhole, and giant Jenga. Their food is known to use fresh, quality ingredients to create delectable game day treats like their slew of chicken sandwiches, chorizo queso, smoked wings, and more.
Tanner’s Bar and Grill
Not every Sunday needs to be a blow-out party, we get that! If you’re looking for a more lowkey watch party, check out one of the many locations of Tanner’s Bar and Grill. You can find your new watch party in Lenexa, Overland Park, and Shawnee, amongst other further locations. If you head to any Tanner’s you’ll need to add an order of their infamous “chicken lips” chicken tenders.
Revel Sports Tavern
One of the newest spots on the map to watch the Kansas City Chiefs is Revel Sports Tavern in Rosana Square. Making a name for itself as an upscale sports bar in Overland Park, Revel Sports Tavern boasts a family-friendly atmosphere with a huge amount of TVs for sports viewing. The building itself also features a beautiful mural spanning a large amount of the wall!
