Easter Egg 5K & 10K Run
Combine fitness and fun with the Easter Egg 5K and 10K run in Overland Park, Kansas. This fun-family event on April 19, 2025 features a beautiful course that you are sure to enjoy, a visit from the Easter bunny, post-race food and drink, unique finishers medals for all participants in addition to overall and age group awards. A portion of the registration proceeds will benefit Cornerstones of Care, a behavioral and mental health nonprofit dedicated to partnering with children and families to build safe and healthy communities.
Easter Brunch Buffet at Silo
Indulge in an Easter Brunch Buffet at Silo Modern Farmhouse in Lenexa, Kansas. Located within the Canyon Farms Golf Club, Silo’s brunch buffet on April 20th offers reservations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the following prices: adults $70, kids 6 to 11 years old $25, and kids 5 and under free. The extensive brunch selections include an artisan cheese board, oysters on the shell, house-smoked salmon, slow-roasted leg of lamb, smoked porchetta, slow-smoked prime rib, omelette and waffle stations, classic breakfast staples like scrambled eggs and bacon, and more.
KC Pumpkin Patch BunnyPalooza Family Easter Event
On April 19-20, visit the KC Pumpkin Patch for a family-friendly event with Easter Bunny photos, an egg hunt, a candy cannon, games, festival food and drink, plus more than 60 fun activities to enjoy throughout the day. Both dates will have the fun run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For an additional cost, you can add the Bunny Brunch Experience on the Cidery Patio with pancakes, eggs, and the Easter Bunny himself.
Westport Egg Hunt
Free for all ages, the Westport Egg Hunt invites families to their annual Easter program at the Westport-Roanoke Community Center. The day’s events of family fun on April 12th will feature an Easter egg hunt, crafts, face painting, and raffles for the children to win prizes from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Brunch with the Bunny
Now’s your chance to register for Brunch with the Bunny on April 12th at the Merriam Community Center. Meet the Easter Bunny at this holiday event, where you’ll enjoy a pancake breakfast from Chris Cakes, photo opportunities and an egg hunt. This event sells out annually, so don’t delay!
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival’s Kegs ‘n’ Eggs
This one’s for the adults! Kegs ‘n’ Eggs at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival is a combination of drinking and hunting for eggs for those over 21 years old. Each egg found contains either candy, a prize, cash, or a prize ticket to be redeemed at egg redemption with a total of over $75,000 in prizes. There will be craft beer, wine and mocktail tastings along with food trucks, shopping, games and contests. This year’s event is on April 12th, with a pre-party held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the egg hunt and tasting going from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
KC Wine Co. Easter Hop-Up Bar
Opening Friday, April 4th and running through every weekend until Easter Sunday, KC Wine Co. is inviting adults to their Easter Hop-Up Bar in Olathe, Kansas! KC Wine Co. is celebrating Easter at the KC Wine Co. Black Barn with an immersive pop-up experience featuring photo opportunities, specialty cocktails, vineyard snacks and more. Not to mention, admission is free!
