Kauffman Stadium, also known as “The K”, is home to the Kansas City Royals baseball team. The stadium hosted the 1973 and 2012 MLB All-Star Games. On July 2, 1993, the stadium was officially renamed in honor of the franchise’s late owner, Ewing M. Kauffman.
