1. Choose the Right Agent

This is an obvious number 1, right here. Choosing the right agent is critical to your success in quickly selling your home. You can do all the rest of the things on this list, but without the right agent who understands the ins and outs of the market, advocating and negotiating for you, you will be at a disadvantage.

Knowledge of comparable properties in the area and the current real estate market, as well as trends and what needs to be done to get the home ready to list, are what buyers are currently looking for, etc. is extremely important if you want your home to sell quickly.

Make sure you have a good marketing plan and strategy in place. 

Diving into the details right off the bat is always a good idea. Know what your closing costs, commission, and other fees will be.
